Kimberlie’s journey to becoming a physical therapist began when she needed to attend physical therapy to rehabilitate her knees while playing competitive traveling volleyball in high school. She set her mind to becoming a physical therapist after this experience so that she could help people reach their goals and heal from injuries. Kimberlie earned her Bachelors degree in Exercise Sports Science and Kinesiology at Concordia University in Irvine, California. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Chapman University in California earning an award at graduation for academic excellence. She decided she wanted to live in Colorado with her sister, so she moved to Denver following PT school graduation in 2012. She then gained valuable clinical experience while working in acute care at Rose Medical Center in Denver. She has extensive experience with geriatric patients and strives to keep her patients mobile and healthy. She has realized her passion is in pelvic physical therapy and she is taking multiple continuing education courses to further her knowledge. Kimberlie believes in a whole body approach to treatment and incorporates manual therapy, therapeutic exercise and extensive patient education on stress management and living a healthy lifestyle into her treatment sessions. Kim enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, skiing and exploring beautiful Colorado with her husband, Justin and their dog, Lola.
